Seems that lately I have been transporting cats and kittens from the shelters to various rescues. I have not been able to take pictures of them because they are in small carriers and I have not been handling them to photograph them. Today was the first dog in about 5 days and her name is Kate. I transported her from the Orange County shelter to boarding in preparation for her trip north in a few days to a wonderful rescue. I know that she will find her home in the first few days there. She is so cute and walks very confidently on a leash. How someone could give a girl like this up, is beyond me, but they do.
Got To Be One Of The Nicest Pitties
I met him today at his owner’s apartment, she needed him to be transported to the vet and one of the rescues agreed to pick up the vet bill for her. His name is Blue, I know, very original considering he is a blue pittie. He’s 8-9 years old and so lovable and sweet. He was having medical issues and she couldn’t afford his care, so a rescue chipped in so he could get the care he needs. His previous owner died a few months ago and the daughter is looking after him the best she can. We are just trying to keep him out of the shelter. We know what that would mean for him and no one wants that. We will start looking for a more permanent solution for Blue as soon as some that are ahead of him find their homes first. All are deserving, but so few good homes.
