Today I went to Orange County and picked up Kingston who has been in boarding for 4 months. I dropped him off at another kennel to be vetted for his flight north. Nobody likes to see them wait a long time in boarding, but sometimes it takes that long to find a good foster for particular dogs. I also picked up Tia Tia at another boarding facility and transported him to a different boarding facility to be vetted for his flight up north. Both are going to different rescues but on the same flight. At least now they have started on the road to their forever home. Both are great dogs and I am sure will find their home quickly up north.
Another Adoption Run
This past Saturday-Sunday I loaded up 11 dogs from the Santa Paula Shelter and transported them to the New Hope store in Thousand Oaks so they could have a chance at a wider audience and get more exposure. Out of the 11 they adopted out 3. That’s our reward for all the hard work people at the shelter and the store put into getting these guys and gals their forever homes. We just keep doing it and doing it and sometimes it pays off. And sometimes not.
