Meet Nemo. I picked him up at a vet clinic in South L.A. and transported him to a foster way out in the desert near Palm Springs. Even though it was very hot Nemo took it all in stride. In about five minutes he had made himself at home and acted like he had always lived there. Someone had owned and spoiled this dog, he’s definitely not one of the hardship cases I so often see coming out of that area. It’s about time someone from that area knows how to treat a dog right. I am sure there will be no problems finding this guy a good home. Good luck Nemo and behave.
Poor Little Blue Pittie
Today I went out to the Devore shelter and pulled this very frightened little pittie pup. This guy was rescue only, therefore it was either I take him or he dies today. Some choice. Working with a rescue he was pulled and tonight he has an extension on life. So many don’t. It’s so sad. If people would just spay-neuter we could get a handle on the problem. So many good dogs are dying. There just aren’t enough good homes. This little guy will be on his way north in a few weeks and hopefully it all will work out for him.
