On Sunday I went to the Camarillo shelter and pulled this little guy because I had pulled him last year from the shelter for a rescue and they had adopted him out. Well he got loose somehow, the owners were contacted and they never picked him up. So I contacted the rescue and they weren’t going to help either. So guess what. I pulled him just before his time was up and the shelter was very near in killing him. I delivered him to another rescue who I know will stand by the poor guy and get him adopted. I know he will have better luck this time in both an adopter and rescue.
Does This Little Guy Look Scared Or What?
Yes he looked scared and he was very scared; and a whole lot of bitey. He would not come to me or others and was so frightened you couldn’t hold him. I finally put a towel over him and completely wrapped him up, then he settled down and I could hold him. You could pet him through the towel and he was happy. Maybe he didn’t like men, maybe a lot of things, but in the end he will come around and bond with someone and from there it will be all better. Sure would like to know what this little fella has been through. It must be a lot. Or maybe I don’t want to know, we will just keep moving forward. Sometimes it’s best if you don’t know the history of some of these tormented little guys.
