I went to this shelter expecting to pull seven dogs, but got only two. Not a good average. This shelter has a rule that the dogs must be available to the public for 3-5 days before a rescue can take them. When they say a dog in endangered, do they mean before this waiting period or after? To me, if the dog is available, then his is available. Why keep them 3-5 days longer in a place they don’t want to be. But it’s their rules, although I am sure it affects the number of dogs that rescues can pull. Again, the dogs suffer as a result of peoples’ decisions.
