As sad stories go, this is one that has been dragged out way too long. Meet Daisy, a 40 lb or so non descript small to medium dog that was going nowhere. Three years ago this dog was turned over to a rescue, to try and rehome. Well they didn’t have much luck, she is a blackish/brownish color, no features, scared out of her little mind when you come close to her, and I am guessing maybe also a fear biter. She was kept in a kennel 3 years, then she was moved south to the desert, where I am sure no one ever looked at her twice. Finally her fosters from 3 years ago said they wanted her back when they found out she was now out in the desert. Well I picked her up from out in the desert, drove her to Van Nuys to be loaded on the plane going north, and by now she is finally back where she started, 3 long years ago. All I can say is thank god someone finally realized this little girl was alive, because without this chance there would have been none and she would have spent the rest of her life kenneled and waiting. How sad.
