On Thursday I went up to Lake Isabella Shelter to pull a chow that the shelter staff had to use the stick to capture and put him in the kennels. He was not a happy camper. He wouldn’t let the staff clean his cage and would act very aggressive toward anyone coming into his space. Needless to say, he wasn’t making many friends there. I was asked to go pull him and transport him to boarding to await an opening for training. When I went back to his kennel he started barking, but I knew it was a frightened, not aggressive, bark. I put the slip lead on him and took him out front for shots then loaded him up. He was just very scared. With a little TLC this boy will be fine.
