As you can see from the photos, Laughy would not stay still to have his picture taken. He was so happy to be outside and out of the shelter and had so much energy. He was like the Energizer bunny. When it came time to load him in the kennel, he wanted no part of that. Maybe he thought he was off to the vets to get fixed again. After a lot of persuasion and certain kinds of treats he was loaded up and ready to go. Not a peep out of him during the trip. He just looked out the window and wanted to be part of the world as it went by. When we arrived at Top Dog Boarding he was ready to go again, so we took him inside. I know he was kind of disappointed in not having grass to play in, but that will come later when we get him a home with all the trimmings. Have patience big guy, your time is coming soon, I promise.

And Off To Rescue We Go!
I was at the Camarillo shelter bright and early this morning, ready to pick up the 8 little guys I had pulled on Saturday. I added one more, plus pulled a pittie for its new owner to pick up later in the afternoon. They were all ready to go and I wanted to say thank you to the staff who were very cooperative in getting them out and on the road. All of these guys went to Stonecliffe Animal Rescue near Fresno, where I know they will get adopted very quickly. That is the why in what we do in rescue. Get them into good homes.
