I got this little guy out of the shelter on his very last day, why, who knows. Yes, he had vision problems and badly needed a haircut, but was ever so loving. He was probably about 8-10 years old, but certainly not ready to die. I doubt he has ever seen a vet or even lived in a house as he was quite scared. And all he wanted was to be held. I know that he goes for a vet visit on Monday for a full workup and I hope they don’t find anything more than what TLC and good food will cure. Then he will be at a foster’s for a while to decompress from being in a shelter and to acclimate more around people. I am sure finding his forever home won’t be hard.
So Unfair
Today, I picked up this little one out at a high desert shelter and she was too scared to walk on a leash, but you could hold her with no problem. We carried her out to the van as I didn’t want to drag her through the lobby screaming. I am sure with a little TLC, a good grooming and a bath, many new things will await this girl. I’d love to see a picture 3 months from now, I bet you wouldn’t recognize her.
