Yes the picture is dark and out of focus because the vet staff wouldn’t go outside to hold the dog for photos for the rescue. And they don’t help load dogs either. I wonder what else they don’t do. This little Aussie girl was very scared and would barely walk to the van. Why we will never know, but it doesn’t help being at a vets with so many no’s in their vocabulary. She is out now and went to a very good rescue that knows what she needs to get her enjoying life, maybe for the first time. One can only can wonder.
So Sweet And Big
This girl had some medical issues, so I picked her up at the vets office at the crack of dawn today. This vet is the only one I have been to that opens at 6:00am. As we headed out of town, going north to meet up in Ventura with someone that would be taking her farther north, she was just looking out the back of the van like she was saying goodbye to Los Angeles, maybe forever, who knows. Even though she weighs in a 65 lbs or so, she was so gentle and just glad to be with someone. I don’t know her back-story, but will never understand why someone would give this dog up. Now she is on her way to whole new life and I am sure every day will be a new adventure.
